Good for medium to coarser fibers. Not recommended for fine, silky fibers like very fine alpaca, kid mohair or angora. Finer wools will need more passes to get desired results.

Each 2 row comb has 25 polished, hardened steel tines, (13 in the front row and 12 in the back row), 3/32″ diameter, about 4.25″ long, and set 1/4″ on center in a 4" wide Danish Oil finished Walnut head with a 3" working width.

The handle is made of Danish Oil finished Walnut and is 1" in diameter and about 5" long.

The tines have a long taper to a sharp point and should never need straightening with normal use. They are flexible enough to take abuse, and still bounce back to their intended alignment. 

The tines slant slightly back for the last 1″ to the tip which helps them pass by each other without interference. 

Total weight for the pair is about 13 ounces.
